Our Story, A Country Pub & Inn
The Red Lion is a 17th-century country inn in the picturesque village of Caythorpe, situated some 8 miles from Grantham & Sleaford, 10 miles from Newark and 16 miles from Lincoln.
Simon and Becky are committed to providing quality food, drink and a warm and friendly atmosphere in the relaxed environment, quirky with a hint of traditional charm.
Whether it be a drink or a meal sit back and relax and we will take care of everything, you won't need to visit the bar unless you want to sit and chat with us.
We are dog friendly
We are a dog friendly pub and encourage you to bring your pups to hang out with you!
You can even bring a picture of your dog and we will frame it for our chillout room.
