Tucked away in the heart of the charming village of Caythorpe, The Red Lion is a cosy 17th-century inn full of character and country charm.
Just a short drive from Grantham, Sleaford, Newark and Lincoln, we’re the perfect spot to escape the hustle and enjoy a proper pint or a hearty meal.

We pride ourselves on good, honest food, a great selection of drinks, and the kind of warm welcome you’d expect from your favourite local. Our pub is a relaxed mix of the old and the quirky with a crackling fire in the colder months and plenty of stories to go around.

The Red Lion is proudly run by Becky, your friendly local landlady with a passion for good food, great company, and proper pub hospitality. With a welcoming smile and a knack for remembering your favourite tipple, Becky makes sure everyone who walks through the door feels right at home.
We are dog friendly
We are a dog friendly pub and encourage you to bring your pups to hang out with you!
You can even bring a picture of your dog and we will frame it for our chillout room.
